This is not following safe laboratory practices. Seriously. I mean, you could get some Coke in your sample. And I think we all know your day's pretty much ruined if that happens.

Pipette + diet coke residue + whatever you are running = pi**ed off faculty with super-bubbly caffeinated results!
I have recently moved out to Maryland from the great state of Washington. I met my husband during graduate school, and we came out here after that. We have three kitties, three lizards, and some fish. Hubby and I are both chemists, although he is doing more administrative things now. I am still working in the lab, doing analytical type things.
