It's pretty, but I'm not looking forward to all that raking. (the clean break in the leaves on the grass is from the lawn mower. It's very good at sucking up leaves, but you have to empty the bag every freaking 5 minutes.)
I think the yard ends just beyond that tree. Oh, I mow all that, but it's park land or some undevelopable land owned by the city. So the all the previous owners have planted trees that are dying, tried gardens, put in a swing set. Basically maintaining this land that no one owns.
I have recently moved out to Maryland from the great state of Washington. I met my husband during graduate school, and we came out here after that. We have three kitties, three lizards, and some fish. Hubby and I are both chemists, although he is doing more administrative things now. I am still working in the lab, doing analytical type things.

oh yeah: total lot size is 0.25 acres, and the extra part in the back is about equal in size to the real back yard.
