- I have recently moved out to Maryland from the great state of Washington. I met my husband during graduate school, and we came out here after that. We have three kitties, three lizards, and some fish. Hubby and I are both chemists, although he is doing more administrative things now. I am still working in the lab, doing analytical type things.

Wood-eating organisms! We have one. It's big and brown and pants a lot and chews up sticks in the yard.

PS, all woodeating organisms in the house are gone. The guy came by Saturday. The treatment's supposed to be good like 10-12 years!
